NEW LISTING RANKING - SAN RAFAEL

A little bit of a drizzle didn’t stop the Narodny Team from seeing the fresh listings today. The market is dangerously thirsty for new inventory. Finally, we are seeing signs of supply increasing after the holiday drought. With 6 new listings in San Rafael becoming available in the past week, we sincerely hope this trend continues to create a more level playing field for today’s buyers.

Of the new San Rafael inventory I toured today, here is how I rank them from a value perspective (bang for your buck, mass appeal, resale potential, etc). See embedded links for pictures:

  1. 121 Kinross Dr - Okay, okay, yes it’s the most expensive on this list. However, this house embodies some of the qualities that are so rare in today’s Marin inventory - big flat backyard, gorgeous open floor-plan, and extremely well maintained. This house is a treat. $1,650,000.

  1. 16 Tralee Way - Terra Linda convenience. Although a little farther north from downtown, this home has everything you need. Warm, inviting, and tasteful finishes. Flat backyard right off the main level and safe streets make it perfect for a young couple or small family. $1,089,000.

  1. 320 Knight Dr - Glenwood gem. A mix of classical and modern finishes that fit the character of the home and neighborhood. Very simple and move-in ready. Compatible for any buyer. $1,295,000.

  1. 732 Belle Ave - Amazing value for Dominican. Tasteful finishes like Brazilian hardwood, maple cabinetry, and granite counters open up to a surprisingly big backyard with Redwood trees. I had to knock it for the highway noise. This house already has 2 offers so hurry up and email me if you like! $879,000.

  1. 790 Tamarack Dr - on a different week, this house would be in the top 2, but the competition was fierce. Although very nicely remodeled on a nice corner lot, this house was the lesser favorite of the two new Terra Linda listings. The reason? The bedrooms are mostly in very close proximity to the kitchen. The floorplan was not as appealing. Still, a great buy for many audiences. $1,025,000.

  1. 21 Adrian Ter - a very charming house, but pales in comparison the other 5. Let me remind you once again that we were spoiled this week. This house is in a well maintained, private, and extremely affordable subdivision. A great option for many others. $695,000.
