Ross, CA Real Estate

From its beginnings in the 1800’s Ross has been home to expansive estates and high end homes. Ross, CA is known worldwide as “Ideal Suburbia” and it attracts all of California’s rich and famous.

Because it is a smaller, exclusive community, there are usually only about 30 pieces of Ross real estate are on the market at any given time with and average price of $4 million. The homes are typically large on big lots, gated, and very well cared for. Families will often settle in Ross just for the excellent Ross School which is a K-8 school of excellent reputation and the Branson School  which is an independent college preparatory school....

Ross Community Information

The residents of Ross have used their wealth create one of the most beautiful communities in the country.

A community funded re-design of Ross Elementary School will make it one of the nicest public schools in the country. The school has already won awards as one of the top ten schools in the nation. Their academic ranking is in the 99th percentile, the highest any school can achieve. Ross is often characterized as the suburban ideal and can easily be portrayed as a fortress of gracious living.

The Marin Art and Garden Center is a beautiful ten-acre site that houses several non-profit community groups and offers classes and activities. Shaded roads enhance this lovely town of grand estates and custom luxury homes. These large properties in park-like settings often have accommodations for horses, tennis courts and swimming pools. In the center of the town, is a very quaint commercial area featuring restaurants and boutiques. One of which, the Ross Grocery, has been operated by the same family since WWII.
