Get your boats ready! May 1st is the 95th annual Opening Day on the Bay decorative boat parade. The wind has picked up a bit this week and I am looking forward to getting my sail on. The parade will feature over 120 historic workboats, fireboats, towboats, classic and contemporary craft decorated to the theme. The theme of the parade is Giants of Bay celebrating all that is great about San Francisco. No Blue Angels (not till October) but just as fun!
Enjoy the great weather this weekend and watch the festivities from the water or land. Free public viewing is available on San Francisco’s Northern Shoreline from Crissy Field to Pier 39.

Tuesday and Wednesday are broker's tour days in Marin County. This is a real estate agent's way to check out properties listed for sale before the mad rush during open houses. Peter and I try to see as many properties as we can. We always want to find the best properties for our buyer clients and this is a great way.
This week I saw a property that needs a shout out. Call it my pick of the week. 505 Los Cerros in Greenbrae, CA is a great home on a huge level lot in a fabulous location (Kentfield schools).
