The San Francisco Bay is a very special place to be lucky enough to live. Growing up here is a privilege, and as I’m sure many of you can agree, this environment effectively shapes us. Living by the bay and being in presence of water daily has been quite the impact for many our 2012 London Olympians. Of the 530 United States Olympians, 125 of the hail from California, while another 71 of them call the Bay Area home. Our entire badminton team is from California, although we only boast one gymnast from the Bay.
